GERRY GREGG
Gerry Gregg's photograph's are more like portraits rather than still lifes. Each image he shoots has an individual personality based on his unique perspective of either the flower or various subject matter. Even though Gregg's medium is photography, his work has a painterly ethereal feel.

Gerry Gregg's passion for flowers started at a young age growing in Chico, California. As a child, he would go to his family's cabin where he would pass the time by gathering wildflowers from the meadows and pulling moss from the trees and returning home to create arrangements using his wild imagination. His interest in design inspired him to take various art classes in high school. After high school and a short time serving as a Marine, Gerry took his final paycheck from the Marines and bought himself a one way ticket to Europe. While living in Holland, Gerry became an english speaking tour guide for the Aalsmeer Flower Market. After returning to the states, Gerry became a top floral designer in Venice, CA and also a float director for the annual Tournament of Roses Parade in Pasadena.

Inducted into the American Institute of Floral Design in 2005, Gregg's designs have placed first in various California competitions. Gregg's photographs have been shown in Ojai and Venice, CA. He presently resides in Chico with his wife Carol where they own an award-winning flower shop.
